• Upright: The Kwik Fix upright is a closed, seamless welded double box. The roll formed profile has front and side channels permitting a wide range of connector options and the pre-punched lug design Schaefer is famous for. Endframes: Are available in 12" (300 mm), 16" (400 mm), 20" (500 mm) and 24" (600 mm) depths. A new galvanized satin finish provides a clean and durable finish which will not rust. Kwik Fix endframes may be used in the construction of catwalk or mezzanine installations. SSI's standard 39" bay provides 8% more storage length than typical 36" bay systems. ; Shelves: The Kwik Fix shelf from SSI Schaefer is made of 19 gauge steel and have a 400 lbs. capacity. Footplate: Accommodates shimming and levelling if required. Beam: A close-up of the beam connection. Bracing: Back bracing every third bay is recommended to increase lateral stability. As an alternative, beam bracing may be employed, as this leaves both the front and back faces fully open. Beam construction is possible on inner or outer upright surfaces and at any level. Panels: Kwik Fix offers three types of panelling: mesh side and back, solid inner side and back and solid outer side and back.
