Saugeen First Nation, Ontario | October 27, 2023 eSupply Canada is proud to announce it has been recognized with a 2023 Inclusive Growth Award by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The awards celebrate organizations that are advancing economic reconciliation and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility across Canada's business community.
The award was presented during the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's Annual General Meeting and Convention in Calgary, Alberta, where chamber executives, business leaders, and policymakers gathered to discuss the future of Canada's economy and business landscape.
Led by Founder and CEO Steven Vanloffeld, eSupply Canada is a national Indigenous-owned distributor of business and industrial supplies, providing organizations with an Indigenous alternative for procurement through a catalogue of more than one million products.
Vanloffeld said the recognition reflects the growing commitment of Canadian businesses to advancing meaningful economic reconciliation.
"The path to reconciliation isn't always easy. It requires organizations to rethink how they do business, build relationships, and create opportunities together. This award reflects the willingness of Canadian businesses to embrace that journey, and we are honoured to be recognized alongside so many organizations committed to creating lasting impact."
Since its founding, eSupply Canada has worked to create opportunities that extend beyond procurement by helping organizations strengthen Indigenous participation in their supply chains and supporting Indigenous economic development through innovative purchasing solutions and strategic partnerships.
The Honourable Filomena Tassi, then Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, also congratulated eSupply Canada on receiving the national recognition.
"I want to congratulate eSupply Canada for receiving this prestigious award. Our Government also celebrates the work you have done in a short time to establish your company as a trusted distributor serving businesses across Canada while supporting local economies."
The Canadian Chamber's Inclusive Growth Awards recognize chambers of commerce, boards of trade, businesses, and entrepreneurs that demonstrate leadership in advancing economic reconciliation, innovation, and inclusive economic growth.
As a proud member of the London Chamber of Commerce and a certified Indigenous business under the Government of Canada's Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business, eSupply Canada remains committed to proving that every purchasing decision can create meaningful economic and social impact.
