Saugeen First Nation, Ontario | May 15, 2023 eSupply Canada is proud to support the Crouch Neighbourhood Resource Centre Summer Splash Day Camp with a $3,000 sponsorship, helping ensure children from low-income families can attend camp at no cost.

For more than a decade, Summer Splash has provided free summer programming for children in London's Hamilton Road neighbourhood. This spring, a funding shortfall threatened the program, forcing organizers to consider charging families or cancelling the camp altogether. In response, Crouch launched its "Send a Kid to Camp" campaign, asking the community to help cover a $40 weekly funding gap for each child.

eSupply Canada responded by sponsoring eight weeks of camp for nine children, helping preserve access to a safe, enriching summer experience.

The sponsorship also supports a program that celebrates Indigenous culture. Through a partnership with the Indigenous Fellowship of Hamilton Road, campers learn traditional teachings, help care for the Mushkeeki Gitigan medicine garden, and participate in cultural activities such as drum making and beadwork.

Summer Splash runs from July through August, welcoming approximately 55 children each week for outdoor recreation, arts programming, sports, and educational field trips. eSupply Canada's contribution, combined with support from local donors, helped move the campaign significantly closer to its fundraising goal.
