eSupply Canada Launches the Procurement with Purpose Challenge to Scale Impact

Saugeen First Nation, ON – July 15, 2025 – eSupply Canada is proud to announce the launch of a bold new initiative to help Corporate Canada deliver on its Indigenous procurement and reconciliation commitments, while simultaneously fueling the company’s growth. The Procurement with Purpose Challenge makes action simple, scalable, and cost-neutral.

The initiative invites 20 corporate leaders to transform everyday procurement into measurable impact by redirecting $300,000 in existing spend to eSupply Canada. Each commitment creates one full-time Indigenous position in the territory where the company operates — a role that injects $90,000 into the local economy and contributes 208 hours of paid community volunteer time. All of this is achieved without increasing costs, while also helping eSupply Canada scale.

“We’re connecting the dots between procurement and community impact — showing that everyday business decisions can create jobs, strengthen local economies, and drive reconciliation,” said Steven Vanloffeld, Founder & CEO of eSupply Canada.

Participating companies receive price matching, public recognition, a podcast feature, a Letter of Acknowledgment, and inclusion in the annual Procurement with Purpose Impact Report. The initiative supports TRC Call to Action 92, advances Reconciliation Action Plan and ESG goals, and helps demonstrate progress toward the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB)’s Progressive Aboriginal Indigenous Relations (PAIR) accreditation.

“This initiative doesn’t just create community impact — it provides the scale capital we need to grow as Canada’s leading Indigenous-owned supplier, without relying on outside investment,” added Vanloffeld.

With fulfillment centres across BC, AB, ON, QC, and NS, and access to over 400,000 brand-name office, cleaning, industrial, and tech products, participation in the Procurement with Purpose Challenge is effortless.
